A story of life, struggle and hope
We’ve been planning, dreaming and waiting for this litter for a long time, for which we travelled all the way to Turin, and finally here they are! 🤗🫶🏼
Junior World Champion Damocle x Alterego’s babies are born. But unfortunately they didn’t arrive as we imagined.
Life sometimes throws us cruel tests, and this litter started tragically: five babies grew in Alti’s tummy, but only two remained with us. 🥹
One of the two boys was born with a particularly low birth weight of just 150 grams. We have never had such a tiny puppy in our kennel. But from the first moment you could feel the will to live in him. There was no question that we did everything we could for him.
In consultation with veterinarians and experienced breeders, we learned how to artificially feed such a fragile little life. We rotated day and night, feeding every two hours, watching, worrying, hoping. Tired but happy, we watched her grow, albeit slowly, gram by gram. And it was worth it. The baby was strong enough to join his mother Alti and started to suckle on his own. He’s been growing ever since, doubling his birth weight at a week old and we hope his strength will continue.
And Alti, as we always thought of her: a wonderful mother.
She looks after her two little boys, born on Friday 13 June 2025.
